Today we’re getting under the hood with Dr. Rachel-Yvonne Talton a daughter, sister, friend, women's advocate, author, and founder/CEO of Synergy International Limited, Inc. Dr. Rachel is a visionary leader, pioneering in leadership, diversity, and organizational transformation. Her firm, Synergy International Limited, Inc., exemplifies her commitment to inclusivity, effectiveness, and trust in diverse organizational environments.

Synergy’s transformative work includes collaborations with Amazon on leadership development and inclusivity, with Pinterest on inclusive leadership strategies, and with Rag & Bone on talent management and leadership development. These projects highlight Synergy's significant role in driving organizational change and promoting diversity and inclusion.

Dr. Rachel's contributions have earned her numerous accolades. In 2023, she was honored as a BOW Knows Growth Awardee and received the Trailblazer Award from Derby Diversity Week. She was also named one of the Enterprising Women of the Year in 2022, and in 2021, she received multiple awards including recognition from the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, Smart Business Magazine, and The Soul of Philanthropy.

In her leadership roles, Dr. Rachel has been influential as the Chair of the Governance Committee on the Akron Community Foundation Board, co-founder of the Black Giving Collective, and Chair of the Programming Committee of the BOW Collective. She also served as the chair of the Marketing Committee for Destination Cleveland, demonstrating her expertise in strategic marketing and community development.
