Elysa Hochman is a musician, composer, performer, teacher and entrepreneur. She’s a professional guitarist who has performed at Lincoln Center, the US Open, celebrity events and more. Elysa is the co-founder and director of the New York Guitar Academy, “Rumba Flamenca” and “Quarantined Quartet.” And she’s the author of “Classical and Flamenco Guitar Solos and Etudes”. Elysa has a new book scheduled to release this fall called “The Book of Rumba Strums.”  She has released 2 instrumental albums that include original songs and arrangements in the classical and flamenco genre under her guitar duo “Jay & Lee Rumba Flamenca” and 1 EP under her family guitar quartet “Quarantined Quartet.” As a professional guitarist, she has been performing as “Jay & Lee Rumba Flamenca” since 2008. In 2020 she formed a band with her husband and two sons called the “Quarantined Quartet”.
