Kirthika Parmeswaran is a co-founder, CEO, and Board Member of Vital Start Health, an innovative reproductive and maternal mental health company using Virtual Reality from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kirthika is a Wharton alum, with deep expertise across business and technology. She has won numerous awards and honors, including Outstanding Leadership in Healthcare award, DARPA award, ACE & MVP awards for outstanding contribution to the company’s success. 

She is an impactful thought leader and has held key positions in R&D at Ericsson Telcordia an Ericsson company working on product innovation, cross-functional management, sales, and strategy.

Her passion for women’s health stems from her own experience with postpartum depression and the clear unmet need for equitable, accessible, next-generation of care across pre-conception, birthing and postpartum.
